We would like to congratulate the Hersey family and welcome Teresa Jane Hersey who was born Tuesday, August 31 at 10am, weighing 3.22kg (7lb 2oz).
Both Karen and Teresa are doing well, despite Teresa performing an attention seeking stunt with her breathing, earning her a stint in NICU.
Karen will probably be in Nepean Private until Sunday.

 Fr Kevin has a male and female ten week old pups for sale and is willing to make a donation to the church. They are selling currently for $1000 each but he will sell to parishioners at a discount. When someone says, "I can't afford $1000" he replies, "I want them to go to a good home but if you can't pay that amount then you haven't got a good home!" It does take a lot of care to have a good dog but the loyalty and love you will receive from a Shepherd will far exceed the cost of owning one. Please come and see them at the presbytery. |

PARISH SHOPPING TRIP Saturday, September 11
MORE SHOPPERS NEEDED !!!!!!!
Everyone is welcome to come along. Family and friends are also invited.
Cost: $53 = covers the bus, entry into warehouses, morning tea, hot lunch and afternoon tea.
 It is a GREAT day of fun and shopping. Pick up will be from the church at 7:30am and will return by 6:00pm.
You don't have to shop - just come along for a day out !

 Our new Bishop Anthony Fisher has promulgated a new Policy for the Diocese of Parramatta on Sacraments of Initiation and First Penance for Children who have been baptised.
While it is being formalised I thought I should advise you of some of the main points:
1. Children should be brought to Baptism soon after their birth (usually within weeks).
2. Only for a grave reason will a parish priest deny or postpone reception of any of the Sacraments of Initiation to a child whose parents seek that sacrament for their child.
